Marina Alekseyeva — the director and the conductor of chorus “Elegia“.

Ms. Alekseyeva is a graduate of the children’s choral school “Vesna”.

Following graduation, she started teaching there and continues to do so to this day. She received her Bachelor of Music from the M.M. Ippolitov-Ivanov Moscow Music College in 1976 and her Master of Music from the Glinka Gorky State Conservatory (Nizhniy Novgorod) in 1985.

Since 1997, Alekseyeva also works at a general education secondary school as a music teacher. As such, she is the winner of the award “Grant of Moscow”and the competitions “Young Talents of Moscovy” and “Christmas Song”.

In 1992 Marina Alekseyeva started singing in the chamber chorus “Elegia” and subsequently became its assistant choir director. She has been its choir director since September 2008.
